As a diversified, full service real estate firm, Solyana is active in the marketing, development, asset management and facilities management of office, medical office, industrial and retail properties. The firm’s industrial, retail and office brokerage divisions have consistently ranked among the most active in the region with consistent growth being achieved each year.
We have done been extensively involved in real estate development activities in three of the countries that Solyana operates in: Kenya, South Sudan and Ethiopia. We manage over 8,200 square feet and have handled more than 21 real estate transactions in the 3 countries.
Our goal as we develop a piece of real estate is that we shall give value and beauty to the client, and that by making our client happy, we shall have maximized returns for our investors.
We work with brokers and owners to identify projects to which we can add value through our experience and market knowledge. Typical projects are analyzed to determine investment feasibility, risk factors, entitlement
obstacles, debt and equity availability and other various factors. If, after thorough due diligence, the project meets our investment goals, it will be acquired using a combination of debt and equity.

At Solyana, , we also get into private property development for clients.
Under this arrangement, we have an ongoing project with The Management University of Africa (MUA) and have been able to construct:
- Build up area of more than 5,000 square meters.
- Full university facilities with library, catering and all university related facilities
We are also doing private property development in Kiambu region where we are constructing houses and apartments.
We also partner with institutions and organisations under under the Finance-Build-Transfer (FBT) model. In this arrangement, we construct a property for the institution and once it is done, we transfer the management of the building back to the client institution.
